so the natives set fire to a power substation today. the power's been out pretty much all day I hear and for the past hour or so has been kind of on and off so we'll see how long this lasts. Apparently they also took a bobcat and DUG A MOAT where part of the highway used to be. a MOAT for chrissakes...

this whole thing has a crapload of people really pissed off. and apparently the caledonians have set up a barricade not letting the natives back on the reserve or something...

and I'm just sitting here wondering why they all don't get their asses thrown in jail.

When I head back into town. I'll be going to the anti-demonstration demonstration :P I tried to go last time I was back there, but it was called off because it looked like things were improving and some of us have common sense. However! After this I will take great joy in protesting how these people are allowed to continue this farce.

Excuse me, but I would like to be able to drive home without the fear of them throwing things at me from the overpass -_-; Bastards. I could seriously start a fight with those assholes. When you try to scare me and take my home away, I don't take kindly to it. Infact I find it rather irritating and no one will like me when I get irritated. There will be fucking prisoners.

Next time I'm home I'm going to walk down the street to the police command center and have them explain to me why the fuck they let this shit get out of hand. Though, I might use better language. Because letting them continue is only encouraging them. Mass arrests, yes please as half of the natives there aren't even from six nations, they're by the trade anarchists who drove in to make a mess of my town.

I bet the real reason is they saw all the shit that happened when the cops actually did something down here in '95, and they don't want an inquiry on THEIR precinct.

I'm sure that's exactly it. They don't want another dead indian. Because obviously he was shot because he was native american. And not because he was threatening cops or anything. Or taking part in a very illegal blockage. No, heave forbid it be something legitimate.

Man, it's terrible. Just to keep up with the watch and shit cips have been driving in from all over Southern Ontario. When I drive by there (taking the safe way home -_-; I can't believe I have to say that shit) you see cars from Essex, Sudbury, etc. It's ridiculous.

And out tax dollars. If we want to be petty. *grin*

I've still yet to see "One Dead Indian", and that makes me sad. I've heard it's quite hilarious and entirely non accurate.

I was, however, in a local restaurant when one of the stars of the movie was in doing an interview for tv. That was neat :| haha
