2. anansi boys- neil gaiman
3. Jonathan Strange and mr. norrell- susanna clarke
4. the ethics of star trek- judith barrad
5. phantom- terry goodkind
6. a history of pirates- nigel cawthorne
7. gunslinger (and the rest of the dark tower series... however many that is...)- stephen king
8. neuromancer- william gibson
9. pattern recognition
erm... I have a long way to go to get to 50... suggestions?

I just posted a book review thingie, if you have any questions about any of those I guess you can ask me...
The Ethics of Star Trek sounds interesting! I think I've heard of it before...
If you haven't read anything by Tamora Pierce I would have to suggest the Lioness Quartet. It's about 4th grade reading level but I swear those books changed my life. It's fantasy.
