saltydog: (star trek - you're dead jim)

my arms and shoulders are killing me.

got home from waterloo around 4:30... spent most of the time between then and now attempting to make the irrigation system work. which means pumping water up a 30 foot, 5 inch diameter pipe. theoretically it takes 150 pumps to get it ready. however, with a broken diaphragm, it takes closer to 600. each. time.

we had to restart the system 7 times.

lets do the math here..

4200 pumps. of which I probably did half, so 2100 pumps.

Reminded me of Bender: "Like everything else in life, pumping is just a primitive degenerate form of bending."

... I've been watching too much Futurama.
