5. phantom- terry goodkind
6. a history of pirates- nigel cawthorne
7. gunslinger (and the rest of the dark tower series... however many that is...)- stephen king
8. neuromancer- william gibson
9. pattern recognition

erm... I have a long way to go to get to 50... suggestions?

it's almost one book per week. there's no way i could do this, not with my attention span the way it is these days.
