sitting in the new tequila bookworm with [livejournal.com profile] bunnyhero. It's interesting. I rather like it. the table at the back where we're sitting is cozy anyway. And soon I'll be eating vegetables! yay vegetables! I haven't had enough of them lately. I've been craving them.

after this though I'm not sure what I'm going to do... I might go wander around a bit. It's kind of cold out though.... maybe I'll hop on a street car and head further down queen st. till I see something interesting...

Guh. it's only wednesday... I'm going insane. NEED MOAR JOB PLZ. Maybe I'll go drop by that poster place and see if I can swing an interview...

well... it's a bit brighter and has newer furniture. but it still has the same menu and all the books and stuff...

I really liked the old place, but my biggest complaints were:
  • cranky/abusive/aloof staff
  • obnoxiously loud music (which they would often turn up louder if you asked them to turn it down)
  • way, way too dark on many occasions

The "brighter" sounds like it could help, but I imagien the other parts haven't improved, eh?

In other news, I apparently suck at bulleted lists today.

the staff were kind of arguing... but that kind of thing doesn't really bother me. And the music wasn't toooo loud either. not as loud as the old place anyway.

I don't know. I'm just good at tuning things out. haha.

:) That's a good skill. If the place is too loud it makes it really hard for me to work on music (although I could obviously do other stuff instead).

Yeah. It's not bad if I know in advance, because I can being my postcards or something else.
